Week #6 Delicious/Library 2.0

I checked out Del.ici.us I wouldn't put any of my bookmarks on there but I would definitely check out the other bookmarks on there. I found interesting topics under Urbanism - Subtopia a guide to military urbanism. There was actually very good article links on the page. If you are interested in how military and and government are trying to work its way into society, streets neighborhoods and countries you should definitely check out this page.

Week #4 BlogLines Is Useful...

I checked out Bloglines and ws kinda doubtful at first. But when I started to mess around with it and use the different features, Bloglines actually was very useful, esp. subcribing to the feeds that you are interested in. You get informed on upcoming events, gadets, submissions, pretty much about anything! User Rating 3.5o ut of 5

Week #3 Flickr Finding/RG Pic ***Exercise 5

So I went through Flickr I found a Picture of the Roseegarden Branch. I forgot the URL but its also on this blogger thing. This picture is of the front of RG. If your at the two large doors on the Community Room Side and you look up this is what you see! The picture is actually pretty Dope!

Week #1RoseGarden Public Library

Ok so compared to the King Library or I dont know the Smithsonian, the Rosegarden is basically your local at home feeling type of library. People come to Rosegarden(RG as I like to call it) to relax take in a book or two, use MySpace(keep in mind there are three schools next to us, Lincoln, Hoover and some kids school), check out a movie or hear storytime. I've been working here for three months now, so i am relatively new to the library and the system. I was a little nervous at first, but the people who I work with made me feel comfortable from day one. I have developed many friendships with staff, so its either there easy to like or i'm just a friendly person. But overall I love working for the Rosegarden Branch. What I remember from first starting at RG was we had a little Halloween potluck, I did not know anything about it, so I basically was eating there food and I did not bring a thing, I found that to be very unamusing, but also kinda funny. I am running short one time so I will get more in depth with much more to say in the blogs to follow....So stayed tuned for the next blog installment....Same Blog Time, Same Blog Html...
